Gympie, located two hours north of Brisbane in Queensland. It is a beautiful city surrounded by lush rolling green hills which stretch to sandy rainforests, perch lakes and a stunning coastline rich in wildlife, Gympie features a wonderfully diverse blend of coastal countryside with the famous Mary River flowing through it.

Annual Gympie Muster – thousands flock to the iconic Muster annually in August for six magical days and unforgettable nights, among the towering gums of Amamoor Creek State Forest Park. The Optus Muster is Australia’s largest Apex fund raising event which is proudly supported by a large number of community volunteer organisations. Much needed money raised at the Muster is filtered back into the local community.
