Crime Stoppers Queensland welcomes two new Directors, including a former Police Commissioner at our 2020 AGM.
Crime Stoppers Queensland held the Annual General Meeting of the Board of Directors on 26 November, 2020 where we welcomed two new Directors.
The Board advertised for Directors for a Board vacancy following the retirement of former Assistant Commissioner, Andy Henderson in at the end of June. The response was overwhelming with many highly qualified and skilled aspiring Directors submitting their applications.
Following a formal recruitment process, the Board is delighted to announce former Police Commissioner, Ian Stewart and Management Consultant, Kerry Brinkley were welcomed to the Board at the AGM.
Elections for the Board executive were held and Mr Stewart was elected as Treasurer. He’ll join Chair, Catherine Jackson and Deputy Chair, Gregory Beale who were re-elected to continue in those roles for the forthcoming year.
The 2020-21 year is shaping up to be a great one with the audited financial report showing a healthy position to take on the planned state and national awareness campaigns in the new year.
