Crime Stoppers Queensland is proud to launch its ‘Local Legends’ campaign, focused on empowering Brisbane citizens to safeguard their community by reporting crime and suspicious activity. Together, let’s keep Brisbane a safe place to live, work and play!
What Can You Report?
Every piece of information helps in our efforts for a safer Brisbane. Here’s some examples of things you can report to us:
- People Wanted by Police: If you have information about individuals sought by law enforcement, share what you know.
- Knowledge of Unsolved or Planned Crimes: Information on crimes that are still mysteries or haven’t occurred yet can prevent further incidents and aid in solving ongoing cases.
- Signs of Criminal Activity: Unusual or suspicious signs can often point to criminal behaviour. Your observation could be the key to stopping a crime in progress or solving a case.
- Suspicious or Unusual Behaviour: Trust your instincts. If someone’s behaviour seems out of the ordinary, it might be worth a report.
Every report, no matter how small or large, contributes to the bigger picture of crime prevention in Brisbane.
How to Report Crime & Suspicious Activity
If something doesn’t feel right, trust your instincts. By reporting crime and suspicious activity, you provide valuable information that helps law enforcement prevent and solve crimes. Even small details can be the missing piece in a larger puzzle.
Your actions can prevent crimes, protect your neighbours, and contribute to the safety of Brisbane. Remember, being a Local Legend isn’t just about what you see, but what you do with that information. See something? Say something. Together, we can create a safer city for everyone.
