Mount Isa residents invited to August volunteering information nights

Crime Stoppers Queensland Limited (CSQL) is a registered charity that exists to provide an anonymous crime reporting service to help prevent and solve crime. Fundamentally we exist to encourage Queenslanders to speak up anonymously about crime and suspicious activity they see in their community by using our 1800 333 000 number or online reporting platform.

In August, CSQL are excited to pioneer two volunteer information sessions to help reinvigorate the Mount Isa Volunteer Area Committee (VAC)

We have a small office team and a large volunteer base throughout Queensland. Our volunteer’s activities are coordinated by our area committees of which there is almost 30 across Queensland, though we do not currently have one in Mount Isa.

This event is to present information about our volunteer program with the goal of establishing a volunteer committee in Mount Isa. In this information evening, you’ll learn about what it takes to be a CSQL volunteer, how you can contribute to our program, obligations, governance and more.
